James has experience at assessment appeal boards across Canada, including Alberta, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. Over the past 6 and half years spent at Altus Group, James has saved millions in tax savings for clients across Canada. Based out of our Burnside office located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, James will be focused on growing our Nova Scotia practice.
James is a respected member of the Canadian Property Tax Association (CPTA), Investment Property owners of Nova Scotia (IPOANS), Institute of Municipal Assessors (IMA), Newfoundland Hospitality Association (HNL), International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) and is an active advocate for property owners across the country.
Outside of work, James is entrenched in the local community where he volunteers as an assistant football coach with Auburn High School. James has been working with youth in after-school programs, coaching and charity foundations for well over 10 years.
