Vacancy rates continues to tighten with the end of Q4 recording a 2.9% vacancy rate for Metro Vancouver, a 20 basis point decrease from the previous quarter.
- Vacancy in the Central Business District (CBD) further decreased by 10 basis points from 2.1% to 2.0% while the overall market awaits the arrival of new supply.
- The fourth quarter ended with positive absorption at 165,335 square feet, a large proportion stemmed from the suburban markets at 80,949 square feet as vacancy rates continue to drop in the downtown core.
