The industrial market remains tremendously tight as record high demand holds steady and inventory stands unchanged.

  • Halifax's industrial market had yet another banner quarter in Q3 2021 with the vacancy rate dropping to another new record low of 2.8%, with rents hovering around $9.79 per square foot.
  • Despite the many industrial projects under construction, new and existing tenants and owners face the challenge of finding suitable space to operate their businesses until construction is complete. Most of these projects are scheduled for completion in 2022 through to 2024.
