Welcome to the January edition of the GTHA Investment Report, the most comprehensive overview of GTHA investment sales activity in the market.
Total transaction volume for the month of January was approximately $1.15 billion across all asset classes. Toronto saw the most activity at $519 million followed by Peel at $240 million. Residential land sales had the highest transaction volume amongst asset classes at $407 million followed by retail and ICI land at $207 million and $196 million, respectively. The largest transaction for the month of December was the residential land sale of at 55 Adelaide Street East & 17, 19, 25 Toronto Street in Toronto for $65 million.
