In the beginning there was the coveted corner office, a sardine packed labyrinth of cubicles, and the immovable structure of 9 to 5 sandwiched between grueling commutes. Then came the global pandemic with its restrictions (and lockdowns that followed), triggering a change in the way we view office space and has allowed us to rethink what it means to be a white-collar office occupier. The traditional approach to office space has left the building a new path is being forged by creative, adaptive, and innovative ways to use the same footprint in a way that makes the office a destination where people want to be, rather than “have to be”.
