The Revalie Ottawa will be one of the largest purpose-built student housing developments in Canada, with Phase 1 opening in September 2021. Located between Riverside Drive and the Airport Parkway near the Rideau Canal, a number of scenic parks, and Mooney’s Bay LRT station and Carleton University in Ottawa, 770 Brookfield consists of a common building and two student residential towers. that include 1410 beds and both indoor and outdoor amenity space. The development will contain two phases with a total of six buildings.

The development is to serve the more than 30,000 students attending Carleton University. The retail area in the development will include targeted commercial tenants to serve the 1,410 students in the development, 5,000 corporate employees that work across the street in a major business park, 574 (2017) high school students at the adjacent Brookfield High School and the neighborhood residents.

It will be a mixed use, “campus-style” community with six to nine floor mid-rise buildings and will have a total of 852 residential units (1,410 beds) and approximately 29,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Phase 1 has 426 units (705 beds) with 19,000 sq. ft. of commercial retail space and will be ready for occupancy September 2021. Phase 2 will have 426 units (705 beds) with 10,000 sq. ft. of commercial retail space.
