Simon Becker and Michael Salomons will join National Debt Advisory at Colliers based in Calgary
Calgary, AB, March 21, 2022 – Colliers announced today that Simon Becker has joined the firm as Vice President, Real Estate Finance servicing Alberta. Joining Simon at Colliers is his team member from Canada ICI, Michael Salomons who will join the firm as Associate Vice President, Real Estate Finance. Simon and Michael who are both licensed mortgage associates with the Real Estate Council of Alberta will help establish a new entity in Alberta, solidifying our presence in the mortgage industry, particularly in the region. They will join the established National Debt Advisory practice at Colliers and will be located in Calgary.
Simon is a respected leader and accomplished mortgage professional in the industry, with over a decade of experience sourcing and structuring creative commercial mortgages for private, public, and institutional real estate owners and developers. He brings extensive experience organizing acquisition, construction, and term financing for all asset classes including industrial, multi-family, retail, and commercial projects. His career boosts over $3.5 billion of completed financing, including over 37,000 multi-family rental/condo units and over 3MM square feet of commercial space.
