The Onyx itself will embody The Terminal District’s distinct vibe. The building’s dark finish – reminiscent of its name – and simple, layered exterior will reflect the area’s industrial roots, while its light, warm and modern interior will mirror the neighbourhood’s progressive spirit and sense of community.

Rize Alliance is heavily invested in The Terminal District, having completed two major commercial developments along Terminal Avenue,” said Will Lin, CEO of Rize Alliance. The Onyx is our third development in the area, with a fourth in the pipeline. We compare the potential of The Terminal District to Seattle’s South Lake Union or San Francisco’s Bay Area. We envision The Terminal District’s energized urban streets and aesthetic waterside to represent the brand and forward momentum of the businesses that will call it home.”

Construction of The Onyx is expected to begin in early 2019, with the building ready for occupancy in Summer 2021.
