Skyway Centre recognized for Performance Leadership within the ‘Water’ category
On November 5, Skyway Centre (87-93 Skyway Avenue East, Etobicoke), won a 2020 race2reduce Corporate Real Estate Sustainability Trailblazer (CREST) Award during BOMA Toronto’s annual award ceremony.
Skyway Centre was recognized for Performance Leadership within the ‘Water’ category. This award recognizes participants from the race2reduce program, including over 500 buildings in Ontario, that have achieved the greatest percentage reduction in water use intensity within the size category of 100,000-500,000 square feet.
Skyway Centre is proudly managed by Stephen Wall, General Manager, Oswald Fernandes, Property Manager, Laura Clarke, Property Administrator, William Frampton, Property Administrator, Sedat Demir, Building Operator, and Nillon Ross, Building Operator. Our sustainability team provided guidance throughout the process and included Mer Ebrahimzadeh, National Energy and Sustainability Manager, and Clarke Stewart, Energy Manager.

The virtual CREST awards ceremony wrapped up the third year of the race2reduce corporate challenge, sponsored by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Toronto.
