Colliers International Hotels is pleased to announce the sale of the Diversified Eastern Canadian Hotel Portfolio comprised of 14 properties located in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with an aggregate inventory of 1,571 rooms. This collection of limited, focused and full service hotels is rarely offered on the open market and has traditionally been scarce, which presented a substantial investment opportunity for a new investor to strategically expand their current portfolio or enter into the Canadian market. The sale of these assets was part of InnVest’s plan to enhance its hotel portfolio and dispose of its non-core properties. The Portfolio was sold to a major hotel investment company and represented the largest hotel portfolio transaction in Canada in year-to-date September 2016.
