Tina’s business development expertise, penchant for creative solutions, and knack for building mutually beneficial partnerships will support the ongoing growth of Colliers REMS’ 8M SF retail portfolio. In this role, Tina will oversee the strategic planning, negotiation, and execution of all national leasing activities.
As Associate Director, Business Development, Strategic Partnerships & Digital Business at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Tina was responsible for developing new lines of business. Her ability to anticipate consumer demand, maximize dwell time, and source non-traditional revenue streams led to a doubling of partnership revenue in five years. Prior to that, during her 15 years at Cadillac Farview, Tina was a paralegal in commercial lease negotiation and then went on to introduce the first revenue generating national partnership program at AAA properties like Toronto Eaton Centre.
“Throughout her career, Tina has taken what is typically transactional and made it transformational,” explains Stephanie Hannon, Senior Vice President and National Lead, Retail Services. “She leads every conversation with, ‘how can we make you successful?’ This mindset, combined with her industry knowledge and eye on retail leasing trends, will be of tremendous value to our tenants and clients.”
As she looks at the changing retail landscape, Tina knows the importance of being nimble and using data to drive decision making. No stranger to change, as aviation traffic plummeted during the pandemic, Tina’s resourcefulness was critical to successfully maintain all of Pearson’s strategic commercial partnerships.
