Colliers Takes the Leap in Support of The MS Society of Canada

ms million dollar

Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world.  On average, 12 Canadians are diagnosed with this complex disease every day. The MS Society of Canada ensures that no one faces MS alone, provides support for people living with MS, and funds research to fight MS.

On Monday, May 9, Brian Rosen, Michael King, and Jared Cowley participated in the MS Million Dollar Tower Challenge. Led by Jon Love, CEO of KingSett Capital, Colliers was proud to support the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada at this new event, where teams took the leap for a great cause and rappelled from the rooftop of 700 University Avenue in downtown Toronto. This challenge is a part of the MS Society of Canada’s Acts of Greatness Campaign, which has a $75 million goal to help end MS in the shortest possible time.

With 157 participants across 37 teams, the MS Million Dollar Tower Challenge raised $4.75 million dollars. Funds raised will give families, researchers, and people living with MS more than just hope; it will accelerate research and discovery, improve the lives of those living with MS and move us all closer to finding a cure for this complex and unpredictable disease.
