“The Junction” in Mission, BC, a large-format, necessity-based shopping centre, is now managed by Colliers Real Estate Management Services (REMS) for LaSalle Investments, adding 282,533 square feet to REMS’ existing 13 million-square-foot retail asset portfolio.
Two other LaSalle investments, Quarry Park in Calgary and Airport Square in Vancouver, are already under REMS’ management in Western Canada and have seen great success through REMS’ dedicated team approach. As the major shopping centre in Mission, the Junction will benefit from REMS’ unique property management platform and REMS’ superior level of retail expertise as led by Jane Domenico, Senior Vice President & National Lead, Retail Services, Canada. Domenico joined REMS in 2019 and brought with her over 20 years of retail, asset, and investment management experience.
With the University of Fraser Valley campus located in Mission, the area is home to a young local population and a high concentration of cinephiles. The Junction is well-tailored to this community, serving all their day-to-day lifestyle needs, but also offering entertainment value with the only movie theatre in the city, SilverCity Mission Cinemas.
Other anchor tenants at The Junction include Save-On-Foods, Canadian Tire, London Drugs, and GoodLife Fitness. There are construction plans currently in motion to add more gross leasable area complete with a Winners, a second Starbucks location, and other retail tenants set to open in the near future.
