At Colliers, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe complex projects are best served by teams with multiple perspectives, bringing diversity of thought to deliver results to our clients.
We empower our people to be enterprising, collaborate, invest in relationships, be experts, and do what’s right. Colliers professionals live out these values every day through our business practices and interactions. Our dedicated People Services (HR) team works closely with our business leaders to deliver on people strategies and programs, driving our success.
Our People Services team strives to be more than simply a support function. We are trusted advisors to our business partners, together working towards and achieving a shared goal.
This year, our PS team has been recognized by HRD Canada and selected as finalists for the Canadian HR Awards. Now marking its 7th year, the annual Canadian HR Awards is the leading independent awards celebrating excellence in the HR profession across the nation.
The awards showcase outstanding HR teams, leaders and employers for their achievements, innovation and exceptional HR practices.
Colliers is a finalist in the following categories:
The Gallagher Award for HR Team of the Year – 500 Employees or More
Our nomination in this category highlighted our team’s ability to align with and deliver on business strategies. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, our team quickly pivoted to help our people maneuvering through a digital transformation. With a large proportion of our workforce abruptly required to work from home, we provided a plethora of resources to support the adjustment.
This included just-in-time learning, wellness resources, and ways to help our working parents adjust to working from home while homeschooling their kids.
The Dentsu Aegis Network Award for Best HR Communication Strategy
Our nomination in this category focused on our approach to communications in the delivery of our people programs. We emphasized the recent successful implementation of our new HR Information System, Workday. Frequent and transparent communications have also been a staple in engaging with our workforce, especially during COVID-19.
Winners for the awards will be announced in the fall.
