Cooking with love
At Colliers International, community engagement and giving back are values we all share. On April 13, 2017, eight members from our Montreal office participated in a cooking event at Ronald McDonald House. They created a menu, purchased the ingredients and served a full Mexican-themed lunch to more than 50 parents and children.
Considering the hardships these families experience, with their children suffering from serious illnesses, they were thrilled to enjoy a complimentary, quality meal they did not have to prepare themselves. Everyone shared touching stories, smiles and laughs, creating a truly unforgettable experience.
While Colliers Toronto has been supporting Ronald McDonald House for 10 years, this event marks the first time Colliers Montreal got involved with the organization. The event was such a success that Colliers Montreal plans to participate in another event – a barbecue-themed lunch in the fall. The team is happy to have provided some relief to these families and we thank our employees for their engagement and enthusiasm.
