Colliers is pleased to announce that Ferial Sheybani has joined us as the new Director of IT, Canada. Ferial brings with her impressive experience as an IT and business transformation leader and has proven success in building large yet agile teams. We’re looking forward to working with Ferial and building on the excellent work she has done in collaborating with internal and external teams across a variety of industries.
Ferial worked most recently with SNC-Lavalin, where she was the Senior Director of IT Application Delivery for infrastructure construction projects and Head of IT for the Operation and Maintenance Division. In her role, she oversaw the operation and expansion of the full IT ecosystem, managing application delivery and operations across the team. Her work also involved the development of a roadmap for future platform improvements.
Ferial broadened her experience as a management consultant to numerous organizations and spent two years as the Director for Transformation Services with Telus Health. Ferial also worked with PwC for nearly 14 years in a variety of progressively senior roles.
Ferial is originally from Iran and lived in the US and the UK at a young age. She moved to Toronto in 1997. She is a certified personal development coach with Star’s Edge International as well as a career coach with Women in IT Canada and the Yara Association.
Ferial holds a BSc. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) and a PMP from the Project Management Institute.
