Toronto, ON, April 11, 2022 – Colliers is pleased to welcome Adam Jacobs as National Senior Director, Research, Canada. In addition to Jacobs joining the Canadian Research team, the firm has also appointed Susan Thompson as its Associate Director, Research, Vancouver. Both Jacobs and Thompson will further elevate Colliers’ leading research and market intelligence capabilities across Canada.
As the National Senior Director, Jacobs will lead Colliers Canadian Research team’s strategic direction and operations, delivering market intelligence initiatives that accelerate the success of Colliers and its clients.
Jacobs comes to Colliers with a PhD in Sociology and over a decade of diverse research experience. He was most recently Head of Research, Canada at Cushman & Wakefield.

Jacobs will work closely with Thompson to further develop and advance Colliers’ high-performance national research team, enhance the firm’s thought leadership capabilities, and maintain the firm’s position as an industry leader in providing its clients with critical local and national market insights.
With more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry as a research and market analyst, Thompson brings a wealth of knowledge to Colliers’ best-in-class Research team. Most recently, she was an Insight Manager for Alberta at Avison Young where she was responsible for delivering the current trends and outlook for all markets, developing subject matter expertise on the regional real estate market.
