Colliers Celebrates International Women’s Day

break the bias

Tuesday, March 8 is International Women’s Day and this year’s theme is “Break the Bias,” with the goal of creating gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field. Colliers is proud to celebrate women in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and, throughout the month of March, we will be highlighting some of the incredible women at Colliers and sharing their stories, insights, and learnings on our LinkedIn channel.

We are proud to partner with and support organizations that are making a difference and leading the way for women in CRE, including CREWCatalystthe Canadian Association of Women in ConstructionWomen in Capital Markets, the Canadian Women’s Foundation and Women in Governance.

We look forward to sharing our female professionals’ insights on how they Break the Bias, challenges they have faced and overcame in CRE and their advice for the next generation of women – in CRE and beyond.

You can stay up to date and view their stories on our LinkedIn.
