Vancouver, BC, October 18, 2021 - Colliers, a leading commercial real estate services and investment management company, announced today that Alex Ménard will be joining the company as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets. Alex will work in partnership with Emeka Mayes, Head of Capital Markets, Brokerage to execute Colliers’ revenue and market share growth strategy.
Alex has nearly 15 years of experience in real estate, including leasing brokerage, investment brokerage and financing, development, investment, and property management. He has worked in all Canadian markets as well as in New York for public companies, REITs, pension funds, life insurance companies, and private owners. Alex has worked for several top-tier commercial real estate companies and has been involved in some of Canada’s most high-profile transactions, including a mandate with the Standard Life Canada (Manulife) head office development in Montreal and multiple joint venture partnerships between pension funds and private developers for development projects in multiple asset classes including office, industrial, data centres, residential and retail.
In his role, Alex will manage and expand the Colliers client base, actively identifying new business opportunities and acting as a key point person for Colliers’ clients. Alex will work closely with our best-in-class team of professionals across the country to further strengthen our client offering.
Alex Ménard will assume his new role effective October 18, 2021.
