The District will be a central landmark for the beltline: a home to great, local retail offerings and office tenants that functions from sun up to well beyond sun down.
Alberta Central & Celero’s move into over 50,000 square feet at The District at Beltline exemplifies how technology and corporate culture shifts are changing our economy and subsequently, the city. The transaction was a catalyst for considerably more leasing in Calgary’s most prominent tech-forward development, with a positive effect on how companies are responding to the desires of a modern workforce.
The Colliers Industrial team followed suit with Neil Ferris and his team winning the Industrial Development Award on the sale of 14 acres at 8825 Shepard Rd SE.
The site, which is now the ROSEN Canada Head Office, went from sale to redevelopment, thanks to Colliers connecting the client with key vendors to help create a state-of-the-art, four storey, 180,000-square-foot facility. The impact of the redevelopment led to employment for thousands of local tradespeople, while the head office itself is now home to diverse roles, from shop and field technicians to engineers and data analysts.
