I am joining Colliers with 6+ years recruitment experience from both the private and public sector. I worked most recently at Catalyst Paper as a Senior Recruiter managing full cycle recruitment globally for corporate and operational roles. Further, I focused on Talent Acquisition projects including building social media strategies and branding framework, providing HR support as well as building and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders.
Prior to my time at Catalyst Paper, I held a position at Rocky Mountaineer, as a Talent Acquisition Advisor. I was responsible for Talent Acquisition for both Corporate and Seasonal roles. Prior to this I was an Account Manager with Hays Specialist Recruitment.

Shandele has over seven years of agency and in-house recruitment experience. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Scout, Shandele partners with our CEO and Managing Directors to proactively identify diverse, top talent by creating candidate pipelines for the Advisor position in Brokerage across Canada. With a consultative approach, Shandele identifies areas for improvement and solutions to ensure Colliers remains an employer of choice.
As a true subject-matter-expert, Shandele is passionate about social recruiting trends, new boolean search techniques, and building authentic relationships. She identifies, develops and implements scouting/sourcing, recruiting and retention strategies. She cares about the people around her, and takes pride in the work she does. Her personal mission is to be a talent sourcing and employer branding expert, while sharing her insights along the way.
Shandele is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), and a Certificed Predictive Index Analyst. She obtained her Management Studies Diploma, Specialization in Human Resources at Thompson Rivers University (2018), and her Human Resources Management Certificate at BCIT (2011).
