In his position as Senior Analyst, Fraser works closely with the national hotel brokerage team with a focus on financial underwriting, hotel valuations, proposal development and marketing activities.  Fraser provides customized research and analysis for clients on trends influencing lodging investment in Canada and leads production of Colliers’ hotel research including the Hotel INNvestment Canada quarterly report and Canadian Hotel Investment Report.  Fraser has been involved in more than $3 billion of lodging transactions across Canada and the Caribbean since joining Colliers in 2013.

Réalisations

Research experience with Global Hotel Network, Ryerson University, Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) and the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA), Canadian Chapter.

Co-author of "Social Media Usage in Hotel Human Resources".

Éducation

Graduate of Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management program (with honours) with a minor in marketing at Ryerson University in Toronto.

INNvestment Canada Hotel Report Q4 2021

Hotel transaction activity accelerated in Q4 with approximately 52 transactions totaling more than $850 million, representing the third largest quarter for hotel investment by volume since the global financial crisis. The strong end to the year pushed annual transaction volume to just under $2 billion, more than doubling that of 2020 and up 13% from 2019.
