My passion for Business Administration started as early as my beginning years of high school. It soon became clear that this was for me and that my interest lay in the Human Resource Management and Marketing fields. I furthered my education at Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia with a Diploma in General Business, with certificates in Business Access and Business Management.
Opportunities brought me from Victoria to Edmonton, Alberta . Here I began the journey of building my career, first working at a daycare as an Office Administrator and Child Care Professional at Sunnyview Day Care & Development Centre. Within a short time, I realized that Business Administration was a personal strength and focused on growing my skills as quickly as possible.
My experience in the property management field began when I was hired on with Tandem Assets Ltd. Managing over 15 companies operating in Property Management, Real Estate and Property Investments. I grew immensely in that role through bookeeping, payroll management, and being the liaison for the clients/ Investors. I learned to multi-task in a high pressure, high volume environment, while developing a detail-focused and efficient work ethic. I was soon entrusted to build legal Lease Agreement documents for the company, which developed these skills even further.
While searching for opportunities to grow my career, I found myself back at Elecon Systems Ltd. where I had previously temporarily worked as an administrator. Here I had the opportunity to take on more of a management role as I oversaw the bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources and other administrative duties. During this time, I learned another side of business management when I took on the responsibility for product management of construction supplies.
I had been searching for a way to grow my strengths even further when I learned of the opportunity with Colliers International Realty Advisors Inc. As the National Accounts Administrator I have learned so much since I started here. It's been a pleasure progressively growing in this environment from starting out with invoicing And Accounts Receivable for Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa's Property Valuation offices to expanding further to the Toronto Offices shortly after my employment here began. I have learned how to prioratize, quickly learn new tasks, solve problems and use new programs. Learning to organize my day to get the most out of what I do has also helped when I was entrusted with taking on invoicing for both Vancouver, Kelowna and Calgary. I continued to grow, learn and adapt as I was given the opportunity to be the support and invoicer for the appraiser for our Latin American clients, Gary Laughton. This brought a whole new learning curve to my job which I am perfecting more and more as I continue. I enjoy working for Colliers international and look forward to accomplishing even more in the years to come.
- Became a Marketing/ Management leader for the Camosun College DECA Business club, a group that is designed to prepare students for careers in marketing, finance and more.

I started in the real estate industry in 1989 and joined Colliers in 1995 as an administrator with the Property Management division. I later obtained my real estate license and worked as a property manager up until 2001 when I became the administrator for the Edmonton Appraisal team, where I remain today.

Oliver Tighe leads the Commercial Appraisal Division in Ottawa for Colliers International. Oliver is responsible for the development and management of Colliers Valuation & Advisory Services Division in the National Capital Region. Hadley joined the real estate industry in 2010 after graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has worked in the fee appraisal industry with the majority of his time spent on the appraisal of office, industrial and land assets.

Jenn started in March 2016 as the Valuation and Advisory Services Assistant in the Vancouver office. Previously, she worked with Simon Fraser University in Graduate Studies admissions, as well as in the travel industry. Customer satisfaction has always been a driving force in her daily work, no matter which industry she has been a part of.
