Dane Gilbert, an annual top producing professional at Colliers International, has transacted over $1.55 billion worth of industrial real estate, representing over 17.6 million square feet and 155 acres of land for development. In 2018, Dane was recognized as Colliers #1 Industrial Broker in Canada (#2 agent overall).  Dane transacted $343M across 3.4M square feet, which included the largest industrial investment transaction in Colliers history.  This followed Dane’s 2017 as Colliers #3 broker in Canada transacting $265M over 2.6M square feet.

Dane was recognized as the 2014 SIOR Industrial Broker of the Year - a distinction presented annually to the top industrial broker in the Greater Toronto Area. SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) is the leading professional industrial and commercial real estate association in the world with active members in 630 markets throughout 34 countries. The SIOR award selection process involves careful consideration of size, value and volume of transactions in a calendar year, reputation in the commercial real estate industry, impact, creativity and other significant accomplishments.

NAIOP INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE YEAR

Dane represented TransForce in the complex conversion and repositioning of an obsolete manufacturing facility into a functional mixed-use office/industrial building. The development culminated in a 145,000-square-foot lease valued at $16.7 million.
