Southwestern Ontario is a secondary region of Southern Ontario and is bounded by Lake Huron, to the north and northwest; the St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair, and Detroit River, to the west; and Lake Erie to the south. The region had a recorded population of 2,583,544 in 2016.

Southwestern Ontario provides vital transportation routes for commercial trucking, railway and tanker shipping from Windsor to Detroit and Sarnia to Port Huron, Michigan, linking Canada with major markets in the eastern and midwestern United States. Manufacturing, agriculture and hi-tech industries are also key components of this region’s economy.

At Colliers SW Ontario, we consider ourselves very fortunate, and are proud to play an active part in giving back to our community. We contribute and participate individually as well as a team in many local charity events, giving both our time and resources.

Most notably – and most popular with our clients – is our annual Colliers Chip and a Chair, No Limit Texas Hold ‘em Tournament. This event is held every spring to raise funds for, and awareness of, Habitat for Humanity^®, a non-profit organization that partners with low-income families to build affordable homes. Habitat for Humanity London was established in 1993, and has built 35+ homes in the London community so far, with more to come.

Colliers International Southwestern Ontario was recently awarded an Emerald Sponsorship Award by the London & St. Thomas Association of Realtors for our ongoing contributions to their many charitable initiatives.
