The transaction was part of a larger portfolio sale on behalf of an offshore private investment group. The broader portfolio also consisted of the 489-room Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport and 204-room Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport. The Property is centrally located in Mississauga’s Heartland Business District, anchored by the Heartland Town Centre with over 1.3 million SF of retail space, in addition to several corporate demand generators. The Hotel was built in 2001 to high standards with a targeted mix of key facilities including an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, 24-hour fitness facility, ±2,400 SF of meeting space, 24-hour business centre, 24-hour convenience mart and a full-service food and beverage operation.
