Colliers International Asset Advisory Services (AAS) has been awarded management of York Mills Centre, a Class A office complex in Toronto’s Yonge-York Mills corridor. Gazit TripLLLe Canada, the asset manager, Gazit Globe, and a Toronto-based private real estate investment firm all partnered on this acquisition in a joint venture, which closed on December 20th, 2019.

“Colliers is thrilled to be managing York Mills Centre on behalf of the new owners. This acquisition significantly expands our Class A portfolio in the Greater Toronto Area, and we look forward to providing the owners with expertise in this asset class, along with excellent service to our tenants,” says Lisa Blacklock, Vice President, Portfolio Management.
Situated in Toronto’s North Yonge corridor, the Class A 570,000-square foot mid-rise complex is LEED and BOMA BEST Gold certified. In addition to offering both office and retail space, the site boasts direct access to TTC and GO Transit terminals, as well as Highway 401.

Colliers is delivering a suite of services including management, leasing, project management and valuation. Through Colliers AAS, clients have access to an integrated and seamless offering of all of Colliers' service lines, in addition to our Class A office platform and asset strategies. This model directly contributed to Colliers’ win. “Colliers’ service depth for Class A office across service lines, as well as our ability to successfully integrate all our services into a single unified group collaborating under Colliers AAS’ dedicated stewardship is the reason we have been able to execute on an assignment like this,” shares John Duda, President, Real Estate Management Services, Canada.

In order to further elevate the site’s profile, as well as that of the surrounding node, Colliers AAS will implement all aspects of its result-driven Class A Office Platform and provide its signature personalized approach and first-class service. In addition to a commitment to community building and engagement, the platform reinforces a dedication to sustainability, wellness, Proptech, and ongoing occupant engagement.
