As the nation's capital begins to enter its Recovery Phase following the COVID-19 pandemic, tenants and landlords prepare for the gradual re-entry to work while adjusting to new working trends.

  • Key highlights include an increase in availability as well as total vacancy which is now up 7.3% over last quarter.
  • Sublease availability in the region has more than doubled with an additional 150,000 square feet of office space, particularly in South Ottawa and Kanata where large blocks of space have recently come to market.
  • The construction pipeline has remained stable over the last few months as a result of the nationwide lockdown forcing a short-term stall in development.

After an extensive working experience in Sydney, Australia with the Compensation Courts of New South Wales, Warren returned to Canada to begin his career in Commercial Real Estate.

Warren is an Ottawa native who obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from Carleton University in the year 2000.
