With more than 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, including serving as CEO I Canada at Colliers International for 14 years, David assumed the role of Vice Chairman and Head of Strategy and Consulting I Canada on March 31, 2020. In this role, David integrates Colliers’ existing consulting practices into a national Real Estate Strategy & Consulting entity, building on operations to deliver the best real estate solutions for investors, institutions and corporate clients with significant real estate assets and portfolios.
David is highly regarded for his deep connections and innovative business perspective, providing strategy and guidance on best practices in corporate leadership, change management and innovation.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and is a member of REALPAC. Consisting of fewer than 100 members, REALPAC is the national industry association dedicated to advancing the vitality of Canada’s real estate sector.

Peter has more than 35 years of experience within the commercial real estate investment industry in Canada.
He is a Partner in Colliers Strategy & Consulting Group and with his Team he is focussed on value creation for clients at both the asset and portfolio levels.
His multi-disciplinary background includes hands on experience with real estate fund management and structuring, real estate investment platform design and implementation, risk management, capital fundraising, asset management, development, real estate finance, appraisal, workouts, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions.
Over the course of his career he has been personally involved in the finance, valuation, management and investment of more than $9 billion worth of commercial real estate. Over the most recent 16 years he developed and evolved two successful real estate investment management businesses. At various points in his career he has had success working in the institutional, public markets, brokerage, and private sector environments and as such has a broad perspective of the real estate industry.
After spending 8 years leading and building the Fiera Real Estate investment Management platform and business to $6 billion in assets under management he has joined Colliers, Strategy & Consulting Group as a Partner.

She has advised organizations across the globe and across industries on new ways of working, employee experience & wellbeing, workplace transformation, change management, sustainability, and real estate optimization.
Prior to joining Colliers, Cathy worked for RBC as the head of Global Workplace Strategy and Design in the Corporate Real Estate group. She led a team of strategists and designers and was responsible for workplace strategy and the design programs for office and retail, for the bank's 24M square foot portfolio. Cathy developed the 'Workplace of the Future', a global strategy and program to transform RBC workplaces -- to enable organizational objectives, enhance the employee work experience, and optimize the real estate portfolio. She used a design-thinking methodology to engage employees, gather data and insights and gain executive alignment. Cathy implemented a measurement process to assess and quantify the effectiveness of the workplace programs and to gather key learnings to apply for continuous improvement. These initiatives have laid the foundation to support the future of work and the workplace at RBC.
