Vice Chairman, Head of Strategy & Consulting Group
With more than 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, including serving as CEO I Canada at Colliers International for 14 years, David assumed the role of Vice Chairman and Head of Strategy and Consulting I Canada on March 31, 2020. In this role, David integrates Colliers’ existing consulting practices into a national Real Estate Strategy & Consulting entity, building on operations to deliver the best real estate solutions for investors, institutions and corporate clients with significant real estate assets and portfolios.
David is highly regarded for his deep connections and innovative business perspective, providing strategy and guidance on best practices in corporate leadership, change management and innovation.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and is a member of REALPAC. Consisting of fewer than 100 members, REALPAC is the national industry association dedicated to advancing the vitality of Canada’s real estate sector.

With over 20 years of experience in the real estate development and construction industry, Mike has an extensive background in business and project development. Experienced with all stages of real estate decision making and project/asset life cycles, Mike works with many of Colliers clients to unlock new new opportunities within their portfolios and develop customized solutions for their real estate challenges.
Senior Vice President, Consulting
In 2006, Justen joined Colliers as an Analyst with the Unique Properties Brokerage Group. Over the course of two years with Unique Properties he was involved in the underwriting over $200 million worth of transactions ranging from Marinas and Ski Hills to Islands and Timber Portfolios.
In 2007, Justen joined Colliers Consulting as a Planning Consultant. He currently specializes in providing Advisory, Valuation and Strategic Planning services on behalf of Institutional Clients, Developers as well as Government.

My career has focused on Urban Planning and development of a wide range of property types. Work has included feasibility studies, consultant selection and coordination, managing the civic approval process and implementation of construction projects. Working for a variety of client types, my focus is on assiting clients achieve their real estate goals while finding a balance between communiity and private goals. I am a creative problem solver and approach real estate challanges in different ways.
Senior Vice President, Strategic Advisory
Jason provides executive leadership for Collier’s Strategy & Consulting practice, which provides independent Strategy and Advisory services, Portfolio Optimization, Transaction, Process and Financial Advisory services to a wide number of organizations looking at how to thoughtfully accelerate its business operations and results.
Since 2009, he has led the planning, evaluation, and deal execution of just over $2 billion in infrastructure investment through a variety of delivery and transaction models. Prior to joining Colliers in 2018, Jason spent the previous 7 years as CFO / Vice President Finance at two of Toronto’s leading hospitals. Prior to that, he was part of the Infrastructure Advisory and Project Finance team at Deloitte (Toronto).
Jason’s experience in financial management, corporate finance, performance optimization, decision support, and transaction advisory enables him to facilitate thoughtful conversations to define and accelerate the strategic, capital and infrastructure planning with internal / external stakeholders, governance, and funding partners to bring new levels of strategic enablement and success.
He brings to bear the integrated thinking, concise evaluation, quality assurance, internal control, and operational management expertise associated with a professional accountant and experienced finance executive. Jason’s mix of experience and high energy collaborative style helps to bring the right conversations to the forefront.
Vice President, Planning and Placemaking
Russell leads the Colliers Planning and Placemaking team based out of Vancouver. Over the years, he has managed development and planning advisory assignments locally, as well as throughout North America, China, and the Middle East. He provides expertise in strategic planning, land capacity analyses, demand modelling, demographic forecasting, and economic placemaking, ultimately with the goal of creating unique and successful destinations within existing urban fabrics.
Senior Consultant: Urban Planning and Placemaking Advisory
Chris Kuno joined Colliers as an urban planning consultant following a career in professional baseball and has served as a project manager and analyst on a range of projects related to the reimagining of existing real estate assets into financially sustainable places with unique character and identity. He holds a Master of Urban Planning degree with a specialization in Real Estate and Development from McGill University. Chris provides expertise in policy creation, destination creation, stadium planning, urban design, municipal approvals, development feasibility, and strategic planning for private and public sector clients
Manager, Strategic Advisory

Rodion is a Manager, Strategic Advisory for Collier's Strategy & Consulting practice. A strategist by nature and training, he focuses on providing Strategic Advisory to a vast number of organizations looking to accelerate their business operations and results. Since 2012, Rodion has led a diverse collective of strategic planning and execution, business transformation and organizational change initiatives across various industries and sectors. His unique pairing of strategy, program management and risk expertise enable him to deliver on key initiatives across a broad scope. Rodion is known for his ability to translate strategy into action.
Erin joins Colliers with experience in real estate market analysis, urban planning policy development and public engagement facilitation. She is responsible for research, and demographic and socioeconomic data analysis. Erin also conducts residential, retail and office market studies, as well as land use and policy research. Her strong design, analytical and mapping skills contribute to planning and development project successes and also help to ensure projects are vibrant destinations.
Margaret joined Colliers International in February 2011 and has since established a diverse understanding of commercial real estate in all asset classes. She has had the opportunity to work for Colliers in both Australia and Canada, providing her with global connections and a unique perspective on best practices, both of which assist in giving the best possible service experience for her clients.
Margaret focuses on the leasing and sales of retail and office properties within the Greater Vancouver area and works with several of Vancouver’s top leasing and investment brokers. She has a strong understanding of business issues which, coupled with her background in property valuation, allows Margaret to bridge the gaps of her clients’ business concerns with real estate solutions. Her role includes developing new business, lease negotiation, providing lease analysis, marketing materials, project positioning analysis, market surveys, as well as property valuations.
She is also actively involved on the Education and Outreach committee for the CREW Network Vancouver Chapter and the Membership and Outreach committee for the Urban Land Institute.
