Canada’s Hotel Real Estate Leader
In the past 30 years, Colliers' Hotels team has acted on the sale or financing of more than 850 hotels and resorts with deep transaction experience in every province. We are results-driven: whether a large portfolio or single property, our proven process delivers results via our global connections, world-class marketing and innovative strategies. Our clients choose us for our superior client service, level of specialization and unique market insights.
Colliers' Hotels team has been involved in 850+ Canadian hotel and resort sales valued in excess of $11 billion, making us the most active hotel real estate intermediary in the country by units and volume.
Our team provides significant local, regional and national market knowledge with the marketing leverage and distribution needed to deliver world-class marketing campaigns. Our brokerage services minimize disruptions to ownership through our highly organized sale programs that are aimed at generating the widest access to buyers in defined timeframes. This process, along with our superior negotiation and technical skills, permits us to maximize selling proceeds.
Our debt placement program provides a range of financing services to clients by helping to navigate the debt markets to obtain the best capital solutions based on individual requirements. Colliers has extensive roots within the Canadian hotel lending community.
We work to create a competitive market and negotiate terms on your behalf. Recognizing owners want a partner in the financing process, we will assist in vetting other intangible qualities potential lenders offer, in addition to favourable terms and pricing.
Consulting and advisory work has represented aggregate asset value worth more than $15 billion since inception. We regularly provide valuation and market analyses services to a wide range of owners and operators as they consider new development or investment opportunities, assess market influencers, develop short and long-term strategic disposition strategies, or prepare for financing or portfolio restructuring.
In addition, Colliers acts for owners in operator searches and/or negotiating management agreements, providing critical advisory functions that assist in negotiating the best terms for owners.
Colliers offers unparalleled knowledge of the Canadian hospitality sector, tracking hotel and resort transactions, new supply and hotel value trends across the country. These databases are tracked through established contacts with city planning officials, economic development officers, franchise representatives, consultants, appraisers, owners and developers.
This ongoing research provides the foundation for our quarterly INNvestment Canada newsletters and annual Canadian Hotel Investment Report.
