Services

Property Assessment and Tax Reviews and Appeals

As your property tax advisors, our primary objective is assisting you in ensuring that you are paying no more than your fair share of property taxes.

Municipal Tax Rebates

We process and manage numerous forms of tax rebate applications including Vacancy, Change in Use, Repairs and Renovation, Demolition, Gross Errors, Charity, and Heritage rebates.

Apportionment Work

Often properties, or portions of properties are taxed in incorrect classes, we are able to identify and correct these errors.

Property Tax Management & Budgeting

We conduct a thorough tax analysis to ensure our clients understanding the tax impact of any change in the assessment of their property. We review property assessment and taxes, provide tax projections for budgeting, future tax estimates and property/portfolio planning. Property assessments can be appealed annually. Municipalities typically release their annual budgets and tax rates in the spring or summer, well after the assessment appeal deadline. If you wait to receive your final tax bill, it is too late to appeal your assessment. Proactive property tax assessment reviews are required.

Property Tax Exemptions

Many property types are exempt from property taxation. If your property qualifies for a tax exemption, we will assist you in obtaining the tax-exempt status and any resulting tax refunds.
