Jennica Palecek is a Commercial Real Estate Advisor on the leading office sales and leasing team across Canada at Colliers International. During her tenure she's been nominated for CREW's Rising Star Award, Colliers' Rising Star Award, and Colliers' EDI Award. She actively sits on panels such as Plug and Play (Silicon Valley's most active VC), Business in Vancouver, global design firm M Moser and more to discuss real estate. Constantly learning and innovating - she's authored six whitepapers on real estate later presented to global firms, actively travels to research the office market, and leads the Young Advisors Canada Council to meet with Landlords, Tenants, and Real Estate Professionals to learn about new ideas and opportunities for clients.
She previously worked in Finance in Brazil and New York advising businesses on their growth strategies, completing the Bloomberg Markets Certification and scoring in the top 10% of CFA Level I on the side.
She is a passionate advocate for female equality and led the Young Women in Business (YWiB) National Team to improve and strengthen women in business, along with her mentorship experience with The Big Sisters of Vancouver and CREW Vancouver to support girls through their growing years. While working in New York City, she supported Wall Street's initiative, WE NYC, which educates 300+ women and minority entrepreneurs on financial literacy.
She believes in community. She serves on the Boards of My Artist’s Corner and MADD Canada, is current Co-Chair of Community Volunteer Connections, and is part of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's Advisory Committee.
