Lucas brings nearly 20 years of experience in real estate, including investment banking, private equity, business development, mergers and acquisitions, development and equity and debt capital raising to Colliers. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in over $30 billion of real estate transactions across a variety of real estate asset classes and has assisted in raising over $25 billion in public, private and joint venture capital, and cross border financing activities.

His expertise in commercial real estate and strong relationships established over many years reinforces Colliers' industry-leading position in Canada.

Emeka Mayes joined Colliers in September 2021 as Partner Head of Capital Markets, Brokerage with over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Before joining Colliers, Emeka worked for more than 10 years at a leading REIT as Vice President, Investments, where she was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing all acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture relationships. Emeka has also worked in the United States with one of the largest mortgage banking firms in the US. Emeka holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
