At the same time, City Council also approved a rezoning policy that will allow for the consideration of rezoning applications up to a maximum of 150 feet in the Main Street Sub-Area of Chinatown South. This designation does not stipulate an outright Floor Space Ratio (FSR) pertaining to how much buildable density may be achieved once developed. Instead, the zoning suggests that a developer (in conjunction with their architect) may build as much density as feasibly possible within a certain height restriction.
