The Refinery District in southwest Winnipeg is surrounded by many of the city's fastest growing and most affluent residential communities. The Colliers Winnipeg team successfully marketed the development as a "live and work" community and sold a 135-acre industrial site to Hopewell Development Corporation, one of Canada's leading commercial real estate developers. The site resulted in a 102 acre net usable mixed-use infill development and is expected to become the new standard for mixed-use developments in Winnipeg.

Expert Advice Brings Enduring Value

In 2018, Colliers secured a two-storey 60,000 square foot space for the development's first tenant, Canadian fitness giant, GoodLife Fitness. In addition to assisting with retail leasing, Colliers is also involved with the development of 44 acres of flex office and industrial space. Once completed, The Refinery District site will encompass a vibrant "live & work" community.
