Colliers Vancouver Hosts SFU Beedie Urban Development Program Students

SFU Beedie Urban Development Program

Last month, Colliers hosted an office tour of our downtown Vancouver location for SFU Beedie Urban Development Program undergraduate students. The visit featured an opportunity to learn about the brokerage business from both our local leadership and top advisor.

The students spoke with Executive Managing Director, Doug Pulver on his career in CRE and time spent with Colliers. They also got to hear from Jennica Palecek on transitioning into CRE and Colliers’ initiatives on gender diversity in the industry. After their fireside chats with brokerage, the student closed out the evening listening to Jaraad Marani from our Strategy Consulting team, learning about the key client case students from Colliers’ current and past projects.

Colliers is a Gold 2022-2023 sponsor of the SFU Beedie Urban Development Program. The SFU Beedie Urban Development Program (BUDP) offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to explore the urban development and commercial real estate industry. As part of our sponsorship, Colliers participates in a speaker series event, actively mentors the students in the program, and offers opportunities for office site tours.

This program provides a select group of SFU Beedie Undergraduates the chance to explore the urban development and commercial real estate industry through in-depth, structured, and engaging curriculum delivered by experienced industry professionals.

Thank you to all our Colliers team members who are actively participating in shaping the future leaders of our industry.

Following the event, the Beedie Urban Development Students put together a recap video of the tour. Click here to watch.
