Finding a New Location to Meet Atypical Requirements
Rogers Insurance, one of Canada’s largest independent insurance brokers, has grown its business organically since its inception in the late 1970s. Its most recent home was located at Centre 1000, where Rogers grew to occupy the entire 50,000-square-foot building. As the building could no longer accommodate Rogers, Colliers International Calgary represented Rogers in its search for a new office to find a suitable location that met Rogers’ atypical requirements including access for pets, an abundance of parking, client reception space and substantial expansion rights.
Welcoming the Client to a New Home
Colliers International Calgary’s Jim Rea and Todd Sutcliffe successfully finalized a 55,000-square-foot, 12-year lease with Artis REIT at Stampede Station to house Rogers’ approximately 300 employees. Rogers’ relocated to its new home in February 2018, and the space is well-suited to accommodate Rogers for the foreseeable future including the next phase of its operations.
