Colliers & CBRE partner to bring 350,000 SF Life Sciences Development to Peel Region

Bringing the best of both firms, Colliers and CBRE agents are co-listing 24.34-acres in south Mississauga for a first-of-its-kind Life Sciences Campus in the region.

Colliers and CBRE are announcing a co-listing partnership to bring to market a first-of-its-kind life sciences enabled campus located in south Mississauga, Ontario. First Gulf Corporation (“First Gulf”) is working alongside Spear Street Capital (“Spear Street”) to redevelop the former Element head office site at 2395 Speakman Drive within the Sheridan Research Park.

The 24.34-acre site, originally purchased by First Gulf in December of 2021, is planned for redevelopment into a state-of-the-art 350,000 square foot life sciences campus. The location will be tailored to accommodate laboratory, manufacturing, office, innovation and technology-oriented space in a phased development approach, beginning with 145,000 square feet.

With occupancy set for Q4 2023, the campus is located 30 kilometers from Toronto’s Discovery District and will be the first life sciences development to deliver this close to Ontario’s capital city since MaRS.
