Emeka Mayes a panelist on investment discussion at Toronto Real Estate Forum

Colliers Canada’s Emeka Mayes, Partner, Head of Capital Markets, Brokerage, will take part in a panel at the Toronto Real Estate Forum addressing these questions. Tackling topics from the challenges of property valuations to the effect of ESG practices on investment returns, the discussion aims to provide some clarity on the investment market.

Emeka will be joined by Prakash David from Triovest, Rob Kumer from KingSett Capital, Jaime McKenna from Fengate Asset Management and Eric Plesman from HOOPP, with RBC Capital Markets Real Estate Group’s Nurit Altman moderating. In her position at Colliers, Emeka leads the expansion of Colliers’ Canadian Capital Markets Brokerage team, solidifying Colliers’ top industry position. She has over 20 years of real estate experience and over $6 billion in transaction experience. With her expertise and track record, Emeka will provide invaluable, first-hand insights at the panel.

The Toronto Real Estate Forum Investment session will take place at the Fairmont Royal York & via Virtual Platform on December 2 from 11:25 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. EST.

Emeka Mayes joined Colliers in September 2021 as Partner Head of Capital Markets, Brokerage with over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Before joining Colliers, Emeka worked for more than 10 years at a leading REIT as Vice President, Investments, where she was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing all acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture relationships. Emeka has also worked in the United States with one of the largest mortgage banking firms in the US. Emeka holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
