Teeing up to raise funds for Autism Edmonton

On June 5, Colliers Edmonton partnered once again with Blackhawk Golf Club, one of Canada’s premier private clubs, to host its 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic.

For the second year, Colliers Edmonton raised funds for Autism Edmonton, whose mission is to enhance the lives of families and individuals living with autism, by providing support and creating awareness, acceptance and opportunities in Edmonton.

Colliers Edmonton, with the support of sponsors ATB Corporate Financial Services, Panattoni Development Company, IMPARK Construction, Brentwood Developments and Lexus of Edmonton, among many others, hosted more than 130 clients at the tournament. Guests exercised their skills on the Graham putting challenge, and used child-size putters and their chipping expertise in the Canada ICI chipping challenge.

Tournament attendee's also enjoyed an aray of food and beverages from Big Rock Beer, Chop, Urban Tavern, and Oodle Noodle. During a live auction hosted by Tim Spelliscy of Global News, clients and guests bid on auction items that included a case of Dirty Laundry wine donated by Camgill, an evening out on Mercer Tavern, and a trip for two to Nashville provided by Colliers Edmonton.

One of Colliers Edmonton’s largest annual events, the Charity Golf Classic has also fundraised for such charities as Zebra Child Protection Centre and Alberta Diabetes Institute at the University of Alberta.
