Richmond Industrial Centre will provide 2.8 million SF of leasable space

As one of the largest business park campuses in the history of Metro Vancouver, Richmond Industrial Centre will provide more than 2.8 million square feet of leasable space in a new 170-acre industrial estate. Developed by Montrose Property Holdings Ltd. with Omicron leading the design and construction of the campus, Richmond Industrial Centre will be built on an inert landfill site. This massive land reclamation project will add much-needed industrial supply to South Richmond where tier-1 logistics and distribution style space continues to be in high demand. As of Q3 2017, the industrial vacancy rate for Metro Vancouver has dropped to 1.8%, from 1.9% in Q2.

Built in phases over the next 10 years, Richmond Industrial Centre will offer 12 buildings in total. Building 1 is scheduled to be delivered in 2018 and will accommodate tenants from 125,000 square feet up to 500,000 square feet. With market-leading design focused on innovation and efficiency, each building will be built-to-suit its lead tenants needs and is expected to attract interest from a wide range of warehousing, logistics and manufacturing companies.
