Colliers Strengthens Senior Leadership Team with new Managing Director in Edmonton

Richard Darling joins Colliers International with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational and financial growth in highly competitive markets.

November 18, 2019 – Edmonton, AB: Colliers International, a leading commercial real estate services and investment management company, announced today that Richard Darling has joined the firm as Managing Director of Colliers’ Edmonton office.

Richard joins Colliers from Acklands-Grainger, Canada’s largest distributor of industrial, safety and fastener products. Throughout his two-decade tenure at Acklands-Grainger, Richard led a diverse team responsible for growing $600M in annual sales and presided over 300 national accounts that included Fortune 500 clients. Richard played a critical role in the expansion of company-wide sales activities across major sectors that included oil & gas, forestry, mining, transportation, construction, food & beverage, and property management.

In his role as Managing Director, Darling will lead the Edmonton team, driving business development and raising the profile of Colliers in the local market. In addition, he will be responsible for delivering innovative and dynamic best practices, growing strategic relationships and further establishing Colliers as the best-in-class commercial real estate firm in Edmonton.
