Colliers International Real Estate Management Services (REMS) is pleased to announce the release of its 2019 Sustainability Report. The report emboldens REMS’ continued commitment to environmental stewardship for its clients and occupants and to inspiring positive change on an internal level.

This year’s report outlines the specific goals the team has established, which include:
- Tracking 100% of utility usage at Colliers REMS managed properties
- Increasing green building certification to 45% by the end of 2020
- Meeting GHG emission reduction targets
- Reducing GHG emissions by 3% in Ontario
- Reducing GHG emissions by 1% in Alberta
- Reducing GHG emissions by 2% in British Columbia
2019 was a year marked by multiple milestone achievements for REMS and the report features three REMS-managed Class A offices that saw impressive results due to the sustainability programs and new sustainability-focused smart technology the team implemented. The growing role technology plays in REMS’ sustainability efforts is highlighted, alongside the other key pillars that make up the foundation of sustainability within REMS-managed properties.
