Professional Summary
Scot Morris began his career working for Aviva Canada within their commercial underwriting and risk management department. He gained valuable experience relating to the understanding, analysis, and pricing of commercial insurance.
He started working with Colliers in November 2013 as an analyst for the Valuation & Advisory department at Colliers International's Ottawa office with Oliver TIghe leading the group.
Scot then moved in August 2015 to the Toronto West office to work alongside Hadley Duncan, Jovy Yung, and Dan Berdusco. He is currently working there in Associate position.
Scot has had the chance to work with numerous clients ranging from local individuals to large national private and institutional owners. He has been expanding his individual client base with a focus on small to mid sized properties. Scot is also in the midst of finishing his AACI designation.
Accomplishments
Earned a BComm with a specialty in finance and economics from the University of Toronto.
Managed a large portfolio of commercial insurance business for Aviva Canada which was spread over more then 15 brokers. Earned his Chartered Insurance Professional designation in two years while working for Aviva.
In the midst of completing the final steps in earning his AACI designation.
