Michael has worked his entire career at Colliers and for 30 plus years he has focused on assisting his clients with developing real estate strategies that support their business requirements.

His team provides strategic direction and execution across multiple service lines- Portfolio strategy, Transactions, Project Management, Technology, Lease Administration, Consulting Workplace Strategy, Data Centers, Supply Chain, and other areas.

In 2020 PepsiCo hired Michael and his team to transition them from a decentralize real estate approach to a centralized strategy for their international property portfolio of 1200 + properties. Michael was responsible for managing a global team to transition the setup of the account, to implement the new portfolio tracking technology globally and to develop the standard policies and procedures for all the activity on the account.

Accomplishments

He started his career in 1990 in the Colliers Vancouver office leasing department marketing vacant office space of new buildings.

In 1992 he transferred to London to manage Colliers international client’s assignments across Europe. During this period, he was an active member of Colliers European Board and oversaw expansion into Poland, Austria, and Slovenia.

In 1996 he moved to Toronto to assist in the development of the Corporate Services Group in Canada. He was also instrumental in developing the global infrastructure for managing Colliers global accounts.

He moved to Boston in 1998 to establish Colliers Global Telecommunications Group focusing on supporting the specialized requirements of the expanding Telecommunications industry.

In 2001 was awarded Top Professional in North America at the IAE awards and continues to me recognized as leader in the company every year.

Relocated to Montreal in 2001 to focus on securing global mandates with large multinational companies. During this period, he was successful in securing portfolio management contracts with 3M, Tyco, Applied Materials, Bristol Myers Squibb, and France Telecom.

In January 2010 he was promoted into a dual roll- Executive Managing Director- Corporate Solutions in Canada responsible for securing National mandates and Executive Managing Director Integrated Solutions- Corporate Solutions in New York responsible for securing and managing global accounts and the development of the global Corporate Solutions program.

In 2021 he was promoted to Executive Vice President for Enterprise Clients focusing on servicing and expanding Colliers multi service accounts. He is a member of the senior leadership team that sets the direction for the Americas client base.
