Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing at Colliers Atlantic office in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Linda has been helping tenants find the right space for 31 years. She specializes in leasing office space, but has extensive experience in industrial and retail leasing. She has also worked for 12 years in property management and construction supervision.
Accomplishments
Linda started her career working for the largest development/property management company in Atlantic Canada and after eight years decided to join the world of open brokerage and took on the contract listing of the 1st class A building in Dartmouth, Metropolitan Place. In 10 short months, the owners of the building constructed four additional floors that were not scheduled to be added for another 4 years.
On completion of this very successful project, she went on to do various leasing contracts on office buildings under construction, including Frederick Square in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and Summit Park in Dartmouth.
While working on Summit Park, Linda accepted a position with Halifax Commercial Park Leaseholds Limited to join them as Property and Leasing Manager for a large portfolio consisting of office and industrial premises. Linda cared for her tenants and even during lean times, her entire portfolio hovered at 8% vacancy. When she left her position, her portfolio boasted a vacancy rate just over 1%.
In 2000, Linda was happy to join the team at Colliers International and has continued to use her knowledge and experience to help tenants find the right space for the right price.
