Kayla specializes in the leasing and sale of retail properties. She provides project marketing services and carries out tenant mandates, primarily focused primarily on the Vancouver and inner-city markets.
Through understanding her clients' goals, Kayla ensures their real estate solutions reflect their overall business strategy by equipping them with the right tools and information for continued success. She has a passion for facilitating complementary tenant mixes that benefit one another while catering to the demand generated from surrounding trade areas.
Kayla is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Gustavson School of Business, where she specialized in entrepreneurship. She is a strong believer in lifelong learning and is currently a candidate in the Diploma in Urban Land Economics program at the University of British Columbia. Kayla is also an active member of several mentorship programs, an ERG Women’s Network committee member focused on supporting women’s success in the industry and was elected as an 2022-2023 North American Emerging Retail Leader.

Sheldon has over 30 years of experience and an extensive and solid background in commercial real estate, specializing in the leasing and sale of retail properties. He focuses on landlords and their objectives to lease space; tenants seeking expansion locations or entry into various markets; and property owners and their goals to divest or acquire assets. His strong relationships with national and local companies in addition to his understanding of the market are his unique advantages.
Sheldon has worked hard to earn the respect of his clients, peers and competitors and in fact, from 2018- 2020 and remains active served as the elected chair of the Commercial Division of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and remains active as an industry consultant.
In 2015 Arjen Heed graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. Following graduation Arjen worked in Calgary’s office market specializing in tenant representation, property listings (sales & leases) and acted as an advisor for both landlords and tenants.
Arjen joined Colliers' Vancouver Office in January of 2017, utilizing his financial background in valuation to specialize in the sale and leasing of retail properties.
Arjen has become a key member of Colliers International’s retail division, facilitating nearly $100 million in sales and over 460,000 SF of lease transactions since 2017. His experience in both project leasing and tenant representation has provided Arjen with a depth of knowledge surrounding market drivers making him an asset to tenants, landlords, investors and developers alike.
David joined Colliers International in 2011 and is currently a Senior Vice President in the Vancouver office. David’s expertise is in the sale and leasing of retail investment properties. Through his experience and education, David understands the complexities of retail leasing and the sale and disposition of assets in this changing retail landscape.
David’s insight on current market conditions coupled with understanding his clients’ goals and objectives is invaluable to the marketing and negotiation process. His expertise combined with his excellent relationships, work ethic, and reputation has enabled him to provide his clients with outstanding results.
David has been recognized as an integral member of the retail brokerage group, ranking first in overall retail production for Colliers Canada in 2018 and top 3 nationally in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Additionally in 2018, David received the Colliers Canada’s "Top 6 under 6" Award recognizing the top upcoming colliers commercial real estate brokers across the country and 2020 recieved the "Deal Maker of the Year" Award recognizing the broker in the Vancouver office who completed the highest number of transaction that for that year.
