I joined Colliers International at the Regina Office in April 2018 as a Property Administrator, for Condominium and Residential properties. I provide administrative support to the Property Managers whom I work closely with, for all the multi-family properties in my portfolio. I have a diverse background in customer service and strive to be an expert in my field by providing exceptional service and direct support to the clients of my properties.
I have a diploma for Computer Management Accounting.
After testing out many different lines of work after high school, in 2005 I decided to take an administrative diploma program to further advance my learning. I was taken in by Catterall & Wright Consulting Engineering who gave young professionals the opportunity to grow and learn in an encouraging, teaching environment. The lessons I learned from the leaders and young professionals shaped my concept of how an efficient and constructive work environment should be.
Travelling Australia for a year gave me the life experience to trust myself and understand how other people live and help create the healthy balance of work vs home life. Upon return, I took on two consecutive contract positions with Suncorp Valuations - Saskatoon, an Appraisal and Valuation firm which pushed my editing and research skills. In the second contract position, I was pushed out of my comfort zone to give presentations to clients regarding the value added services the company provided. The caliber of young professionals with this organization blew me away and set a standard for me to achieve.
Colliers International took me in after I moved to Regina which included many changes to the structure and even location of the organization. After showing interest in Property Management, an opportunity to grow within Colliers was presented and accepted. As a determined self starter, I delve into the thick of the properties under my care to fully understand the ins and out to better serve my clients. A full understanding of where they are coming from and what they are expecting in the business relationship sets the appropriate strategic path to create mutual success.
Della has worked in the property management field for over twenty five years. Della's managment portfolio includes commercial, industrial, office , multi-family and condominium projects. She supervises all aspects of the operations including day-to-day maintenance issues, office and on-site staff, accounting and financial reporting, preparation and implementation of anual operating and capital improvment budgets, lease preparation and enforcement and client reporting. Della is mechanically inclined and has enhanced organiozational, communication, supervisoryand strong leadership skills.
