Don Viner joined the company (then called Macaulay Nicolls Maitland & Co.) in 1976 as the youngest member of a team of commercial brokers. In 1982 he and a group of employees purchased the company renaming it to what is now called Colliers International Inc. Don is a Vice President in the Vancouver Office of Colliers International and is a senior member of the industrial group. He specializes in land sales and development which includes industrial, commercial and mixed use properties.Accomplishments
Don has been employed in the real estate industry of Greater Vancouver for some thirty-nine years and has been responsible for the marketing of medium to large scale industrial parks together with the creation of industrial park developments from a raw site. Don has participated through his career in sale and lease transactions of over $1 billion in aggregate real estate value including build-to-suit transactions as large as 500,000 square feet and has sold a variety of land parcels, the largest of which was 5,000 acres. Don has a highly respected reputation within the industrial and commercial real estate and development community and has represented many of Greater Vancouver leading investment and development organizations employing his years of expertise to benefit his clients.Education
